Ian Lucey

Hi! I'm Ian

I have been working in the tech industry since the late 90s.

I founded the Lucey Fund (www.lucey.fund) and I am a Director of numerous companies including PixAlert, IDappcom, gipsy, BoscaSports and medxnote.

Through the Lucey Fund we invested in over 140 tech companies. These were primarily super-early startups right at the ideas stage. We stopped taking on startups in 2018 and we have been managing these investments since. Some of our good ones would include Kollect which IPO'd in Dec 2019

Before we did startups we did our own tech and in 2013 we were the Deloitte Fast50 Rising Star as the fastest growing young tech company in the Republic of Ireland.

Prior to my own companies I was Sales Director with Relate Software, also a Deloitte Fast50 company. I managed the Accountants Division in Sage Ireland and was Ireland's youngest National Student Union officer.

My primary experience has been building and selling SaaS, ERP, Accounting, Time & Billing, CRM and Payments systems around the world.
